Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Interesting, my understanding was that 2024 was the year they softened up a little.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Thanks Kevington ! Definitely funny that you're just power wheelieing like that. I'm not a big dude though so my 155lbs and stubby legs might not have the same issue, and riding decent snow more nowadays maybe I wouldn't be able to notice the looser tail so much 🤔.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Who can directly compare the Rig with the BC? Kevington ? I enjoyed the 155 BC but think the jump to the 159 might be a bit much, wish they had like a 157. Does the Rig 159 fit in there with it's shorter contact length? Or is it really shorter. I feel like I just want a bit more width and edge than ...

Re: United Shapes
Spenser you've got me reconsidering snagging a 156 Deep Reach now, I already knew the width was a hair more than I wanted, but having you say the 156 would be fun when you definitely ride a longer board than me puts it into perspective. And like G.D. I like my turns more drawn out. I really need to ...

Re: School Me On Banff/Calgary Temperature & Layering
Honestly I don't really ride in colder than like -20C, and maybe I just don't get out enough anymore but even that cold is pretty rare? -5 to -12 maybe is more what I'd prepare for, but yeah worst case it could be -30. Beyond that I've seen Sunshine shut the gondola (and therefore the hill) down. I ...

Re: School Me On Banff/Calgary Temperature & Layering
It *can* get effin' cold up here, but when the Chinook starts blowing it warms up in Calgary to a ridiculous degree. Banff might not get the same amount of warming but they still benefit from the warm winds.
Here in Calgary it was +10C on the way to work yesterday morning and is supposed to be -19C ...

Re: BINDINGS
Burton hardware is M6x13 mm., and all other non-channel bindings are M6x16 mm.
Usually bindings come with both sets of hardware, so it's pretty annoying that Rome's don't. But you can get Burton hardware online or at any board shop.
Yeah when I didn't see any other hardware included I thought ...
Re: BINDINGS
So I'm probably stupid. Now that that's out of the way, do I need special hardware to mount my Rome Cleavers to my Gril Master?
There was no shorter hardware in the Rome box, but the discs also don't compensate for screw length in the channel holes like some other bindings do (by making the disc ...

Re: Salomon Snowboards
I'm surprised that the Assassin and Assassin Pro specs are different? I always thought they were the same shape just different construction, this says otherwise. Where'd you find this Vanni ?
