Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread

I got the Jamie Lynn out in 4-8” of unusually (for us) fluffy snow, once I got used to the lack of early rise and the lower up kick of the nose it rode really well. Even though it is a bit stiffer between the feet I can still pivot it well in the trees. I did bury the nose in some turns and go over ...

Today was siiiick!
Were you up at Stevens too? We did a couple of laps in Chief Bowl that were amazing! Even when we left at 1pm there was still plenty of fresh.

Re: Captians log...

It was only reported as 4” overnight but what a great day! I think everyone was waiting for the big dump tonight
So the lift lines were short.

Re: BINDINGS

I just rode the Union Atlas for the first time and they felt great! The straps were comfy and response was great. My only issue was snow sticking to the inside of the high back, never had that before!

Re: Snowboard Luggage/Bags

I have a small Mystery Ranch pack but it only has diagonal ski carry which is a deal breaker. It is really comfy and has some great features but no board carry.

Re: Snowboard Luggage/Bags

@Spenser I love my DaKine vest for this, the front pockets get snacks and soft flask water bottles, avy gear in the big pocket, and slim enough to be really comfy on the lift.

Re: The boot thread

No sure how I feel about that harness around the liner, thin ropes may cause additional wear.

Re: BINDINGS

I borrowed set of Union atlas from my buddy. I’ve only ridden Burton EST for 3 seasons and the pair of franken reflex bindings for 3 days on this Lib. The Atlas are about 40g heavier and the high back rotation and the FLAD are a wee bit finicky compared to Burton but the adjustment for stance is ...

Re: Captians log...

I skipped out of work and went snowboarding, got there at 230 and rode until 8. It was dumping the whole time and was amazing but no photos.

Re: The boot thread

Well, 2 runs on my TM2s and I remembered why I retired them to splitboarding only, I feel like I have to crank my ankle straps and they give me weird pressure points. I went back to my car and put my Photons on and everything was much better.
