It looks like you won't be able to ever get a stone grind if you ever wanted to get one.
Edit: I just now read that you mentioned 'warped'. Ugh, that sucks.

Re: The boot thread
On the Tactical ADVs/Lexicons you can re-lace the boot lower and also skip the external heel hold-down lace loops. This completely solved the top/instep pressure for me -- so that may be worth a try if you go Adidas. I eventually lace the loops back up after things break in to my liking. For me, the...

Re: The boot thread
From my experience in owning Adidas boots, the Acerra 3STs do not have the top/instep pressure that the Tactical ADV or Lexicons have. Never tried the original Acerras, only the later 3ST versions.

Re: Nidecker snowboards that say nidecker on them
I'm curious to hear your impressions of the board, after you will test it on the snow For sure will add some thoughts on it here when that happens. I picked up a 23/24 Smoke 158 looking for a directional board that obviously turns, but also floats low angle better than my first year Amplid Surfari....

Re: The boot thread
Are you guys talking about boot shims under the insole? I used to use Bontex boards (brand name, which come in a couple thicknesses) -- which are also available from Tognar -- before I found my forever fit with Adidas Tactical ADV/Lexicon/Acerra (RIP).

Re: Nidecker snowboards that say nidecker on them
No impressions yet on the Smoke, as there's still not much coverage/base. Plenty of sticks and stones leaving their marks on my other board today.

Re: Hardgoods 23/24
Sintruded is extruded with a UHMWPE material (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene -- instead of extruded from PE or HDPE). UHMWPE is what most sintered bases are made from. Sintruded can have additives (carbon nano, etc) to it as well. So yes, it's kinda marketing.

Re: The Wax and Tune Ya Goon Thread
I only get anxiety because most people are using the WRONG straight driver. Phillips head #2s are much, much, much more common, and most riders don't realize they need PH3s for binding screws. So, so, so many stripped screws out there. A shop buyer I know told me he started stocking NOW-branded PH3...

Yeah. Maybe start an IR waxer thread in the Wax and Tune Ya Goon Thread viewtopic.php?t=148 or add a cattle/livestock floofing roto brush feedback thread too!unsatisfiedus wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 3:46 pm a lot of quality IR waxing info locked in pages 32-38 of a random thread…
