Re: OUTERWEAR

I too have experienced this with some older Bonfire 3L Goretex kit. If it weren't for the fact that these stains were in the jacket, I would have thought they were pee stains. My current Guch 3L does not have any stains so far after 5 seasons.

Re: Hardgoods 24/25

I picked one up looking for a turnier, pow-capable board for tighter areas like glades/trees, while still holding it down elsewhere. The 21.5mm of taper and tighter sidecut radius was something that I thought I might like… and I do! I’ve only spent a couple of days in mixed conditions on the 157 so ...

Re: Pay for parking Summit at Snoqualmie

Example of what to expect with Epic.

I don't ride Heavenly very often -- but for the 24/25 season, there are 53 total days that require parking reservations (non-carpool, weekends and peak periods before 12pm) -- so that would be $1,060 in parking fees in addition to your season pass.

Re: The Official Korua Shapes Thread

It looks like you won't be able to ever get a stone grind if you ever wanted to get one.

Edit: I just now read that you mentioned 'warped'. Ugh, that sucks.

Re: The boot thread

On the Tactical ADVs/Lexicons you can re-lace the boot lower and also skip the external heel hold-down lace loops. This completely solved the top/instep pressure for me -- so that may be worth a try if you go Adidas. I eventually lace the loops back up after things break in to my liking.

For me ...

Re: The boot thread

From my experience in owning Adidas boots, the Acerra 3STs do not have the top/instep pressure that the Tactical ADV or Lexicons have. Never tried the original Acerras, only the later 3ST versions.

I'm curious to hear your impressions of the board, after you will test it on the snow

For sure will add some thoughts on it here when that happens.

I picked up a 23/24 Smoke 158 looking for a directional board that obviously turns, but also floats low angle better than my first year Amplid ...

Re: The boot thread

Are you guys talking about boot shims under the insole? I used to use Bontex boards (brand name, which come in a couple thicknesses) -- which are also available from Tognar -- before I found my forever fit with Adidas Tactical ADV/Lexicon/Acerra (RIP).

Re: Nidecker snowboards that say nidecker on them

No impressions yet on the Smoke, as there's still not much coverage/base. Plenty of sticks and stones leaving their marks on my other board today.
