Re: Expensive Divorce - The Split Thread

You may enjoy a couple of Prior's offerings as well, @Spenser. The Khyber and Spearhead are both great decks, and Priors are well built.

Re: Check out my new...

swapped the 153 for the 157. I thought the 153 was proportionally sized to the 157, it is not. completely different camber profile, the 153 is basically flat. I didn't realize they are different board designs, even on the website the 153 is labeled ' freesytle' the 57 is free ride tempImageIYfjVw.g...

Re: The Official Cardiff Snowcraft thread

Also referred to a a luge track exit. When the trees tighten up and there's a single line that leads out that is hardpacked with lots of turns and tight spots. Usually where you have to keep your speed up to make it out. Never knew there was a colloquial name for those. Just always called them 'dra...

I quite like them for resort riding for most of the year, minus spring riding, when they get too hot. I don't like them when touring for the same reason.

Re: Expensive Divorce - The Split Thread

It isn't a soft board, so I wouldn't worry about that. I bet you'll love it, as it's way more energetic than any other split I've ridden, and carbon splits feel really precise. The thing tours extremely well, and the topsheet tech really does work to shed snow, which saves energy. carbon boards do h...

Re: Expensive Divorce - The Split Thread

I have had a couple Milligrams, and they're pretty directional. They may only have 6mm of taper and a fairly popsicle stickish shape, but the core profile/flex pattern is quite directional.

Re: Hardgoods 23/24

Regardless of how you feel about the demise of the House (I'm Canadian, so I'm largely agnostic about the whole thing), some of the deals are bonkers. If I had any use for a 162 split, I'd be snatching up one of those Chamonix Route SL Blems real quick. A full carbon split for ~$250 USD? That's nuts...

Re: The Official quiver thread

Still perpetually on the hunt for my ideal DD floaty-freeride board with carving dna... seemingly a very common type of board these days, but hard to find one with all the right "math." Broken record, but virtually just want the orbit 57 with cadet tip & tail outside contacts. Mid 160...
