Re: The boot thread

Biggest problems with vans boot is that you cannot really fit custom insoles in them as the original ones are really thick on the heel.

Van's Pop Cush insoles are INSANE. I get the desire to avoid heel bruises, but holy crap.

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26

Rode the arbor Elston over the weekend. Really great sidecut, amazing hold, but very directional feeling and super super stiff, especially between the feet. A great board but not the right fit for me at all.

Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread

Agreed, that’s pretty accurate on doa vs resort twin. As well as the party board version of the indoor comment. I would also add that the rocker in the resort twin is very subtle. I love both the indoor and resort twin, I find the doa to be very okayish.

Re: The boot thread

For those of you that do some boot fitting to reduce heel lift, has anyone tried the Patriot liner sleeve? If so, thoughts?

Re: BINDINGS

looks nice. I am curious how those feel with their quiver disc. I must be in that tiny subset of riders that likes to travel with one pair of bindings.

Pretty normal as far as normal goes with a split binding, I.e. I don’t notice a major difference using the quiver vs. split disk, but using the ...

Re: The boot thread

The union boot is too stiff for my liking (and too ugly to be fair, haha) but I like how the liner harness appears to pull on that heel thing. It looks like it probably has great hold.
