What was he doing at the local hill? Killington has a program in resort management, 3 years and leave with a bachelors. A friend of my wife went through there and is now a director level employee in his 30s.
I moved to Snowmass, Colorado in my 20s and knew very little about resort jobs beyond lifty ...

Re: Elevated Surfcraft
I had a redtail hawk for a couple seasons. Nothing spectacular or game changing about it, a fun shape that was manageable on the groomers I got to ride it on. I never got any powder days with it, so I can’t speak to how it rides in those conditions. The fit and finish on the Redtail I had was ...

Re: Check out my new...
I found the spec sheet on their kickstarter after riding it over the weekend. The base sticker had been removed and their website doesn’t list it. I had zero expectations but overall I’m happy with it. It’s soft, which will be nice for dorking around in the slush over the next few weeks.

Went to pick up Thai food and ended up bringing home a snowboard. I feel like I’m not the only one here who could end up in a similar situation.

Picked this up while we were in the PNW. Such fun board. Patiently waiting for a powder day to really enjoy it.
Re: Montana
We had a blast at Bridger. Ended up getting a storm that gave us two good days of fresh snow. If you have the opportunity to get up to Whitefish I’d recommend it as well. I don’t remember any specific bars or restaurants but we ate and drank well while we were there. More or less wandered around the ...

Re: Captians log...
Yea I could see moving here and being content for the rest of my days haha. I can’t really put it in words because I’m not great at writing my thoughts, but I feel more connected to snowboarding riding Baker the past few days. The aura around this place is awesome. The locals have been friendly and ...
